STUDENT GROUPS

College isn’t all about work. Here you’ll find life and community among the students as they push each other to succeed while enjoying time together.

AIGA

AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) is a student run graphic design group operating under the Indianapolis Local Chapter. Every semester students plan events, visit studios, and take trips to foster community and increase professional development. In the past students have designed wrapping paper, cards, and carved type into pumpkins while learning about design history and building lasting friendships. Trips led by design faculty have included trips to Chicago, Nashville, and Columbus seeking to connect students to the various paths that their major can take them.

ART CLUB

The Art and Design Club provides an outlet for students to be creative and build community. The club was created to be inclusive to all aspects of art and brings the Division of Art and Design together. The club events consist of activities such as drawing challenges, snacks and the sharing of experiences. It’s designed to be a place where students can gather, create art and share ideas and experiences. The club is open to everyone with art and design major as well as other majors on campus.
